Abstract

AdHawk Microsystems is revolutionizing wearible eye tracking by developing a camera-free eye tracking device that replaces traditional cameras with ultra-compact micro-electromechanical systems. Our intent is to exploit these camera-free trackers in a host of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) settings where human visual attention is to be measured. Examples include measuring cognitive load of pilots, comparing expert and novice pilots in real and simulated environments. A multi-national consortium will be formed, including members from Switzerland, France, and Poland, with Canada and the US A acting as subcontractors, to utilize the newly developed devices in novel use-case scenarios.
