    Technological University Dublin. Deployment of wireless networks with AI, especially in the area of next generation Wi-Fi 7 development.

    Professor Mark Davis is the Head of Communications Engineering, school of electrical and electronic engineering, and is the director of the Communications Network Research Institute (CNRI) at Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin).
    Achievements: Professor Davis has published more than 50 academic papers and formulated one international standard. He holds 2 European patents and 2 US patents. Professor Davis has attracted a total of more than €3,469,000 project research funding. He is co-founder of a start-up company OptiWi-Fi company and he is the Chief Innovation Officer of the company. 
    Research Management experiment: Professor Davis has been managing research projects for over 21 years starting with the National Satellite Services Centre (NSSC) and is currently the director of the Communications Network Research Institute (CNRI).
    Professor Davis has been 8 successful PhD completions under his supervision and there have been 6 successful MPhil completions under his supervision. 
     

    My main research interest is in Wi-Fi where there is plenty of potential for the deployment of AI, particularly in the area of next generation  Wi-Fi 7 development.
