SYKE holds all national monitoring data of water (in-situ, automatic, EO, ship, crowd, laboratory), land and air, as well as land use. Produce national water forecasts (quality, quantity), report to the EU. SYKE often uses e.g. causal frameworks for describing the interactions between society and the environment and evaluate drivers, pressures, state, impact and response model of intervention. SYKE is also answering env. questions.

We want to cooperate with leading AI-people to solve environment problems in different scales. We e.g. use artificial intelligence and IoT in water risk and water resources management (AlyVesi) https://www.syke.fi/hankkeet/alyvesi to detect species (land/water), outliers, forecast and measure values and develop real time service (5G). we are good in water management, including effecitve action planning in different scale (local, regional and national).
