04/06/2021 The Keynote and Short Talks recorded on May 18 and 19 are available on our YouTube channel

In preparation for the Call 2021 (to be open in the fall of 2021) the national and regional research funding organisations of CHIST-ERA invite scientists to participate in the definition of the calls at the CHIST-ERA Conference 2021.

The programme features a combination of plenary and facilitated break-out sessions, high-level keynote talks by internationally renowned scientists and specialists, shorter talks and poster presentations to identify and formulate the most promising challenges for the topics of the call. This event represents a unique opportunity for the scientific community to directly participate in scoping the calls topics content and exchange their views on the future of the domains with their peers. Many successful CHIST-ERA proposals have been initiated at CHIST-ERA conferences.

The conference is also a networking event that allows potential applicants to set the basis for future collaborations. A specific information session on the rules of participation to CHIST-ERA calls is proposed and applicants are offered the possibility to pitch their project proposal.

While, the main programme with the facilitated break-out sessions is planned on May 25 and 26. The sessions dedicated to the recording of the keynote and short talks are planned on May 18 and 19 and are open to the participants. The programme of the keynote talks and short talks will be made available at the bottom of this webpage.

In addition to contributing to the facilitated break-out sessions, the participants are encouraged to contribute with a poster (in PDF format) and/or by proposing a short talk (10-12').  The short talks will be selected by the Conference Organising Committee.
