In preparation for the Call 2021, to be open in the fall of 2021, the funders in CHIST-ERA invite scientists to join the online CHIST-ERA Conference 2021 aimed at identifying the most promising challenges of the call topics:

• Nano-Opto-Electro-Mechanical Systems for ICT (NOEMS)
• Foundations for Misbehaviour Detection and Mitigation Strategies in Online Social Networks and Media (OSNEM)

Preliminary topic descriptions for the Call 2021 have been published here.

All attendees are encouraged to contribute to the conference with an abstract.

The conference is organised on May 25 & 26. Moreover, two sessions dedicated to the recording of the conference keynote talks and short talks are planned online on May 18 for Topic 1 (NOEMS) and on May 19 for Topic 2 (OSNEM) and are open to the participants.
