The CHIST-ERA Call 2025, to be published in February 2025, will target research in the following topic:

Science in your Own Language (SOL)

The present Call 2025 Pre-announcement (see attached document below) gives an overview of the research themes that will be supported by the Call.

Researchers are encouraged to start discussing possible projects with prospective partners. The call will require that projects are submitted by international consortia with eligible and independent partners in at least three participating countries. Additional partners from other countries may be part of a consortium if they can secure their own funding.

Note that a one-step submission and evaluation process will be used.

Anticipated call deadline:

15^th April 2025

Besides, we provide a Partner Search Tool to find partners, by consulting the list of the so-called Expressions of Interest (EoI) and/or by submitting your own EoI.

Information webinar will be planned to present the call to potential applicants (the dates will be available as soon as possible). Register to the Call 2025 newletter to be updated.

The call aims to foster good Open Science practices and approaches. An insight into the Open Science framework proposed by CHIST-ERA is provided in the course proposed by the OpenAIRE project and available here.

The list of countries and funding organisations which have shown preliminary interest in participating in the Call 2025 is provided in the table below.
