Context
6 topics have been pre-selected. The topics are described in the attachment below. The purpose of the vote is to select two among them for the Call 2023, to be launched in the fall of 2023.
Scientific Advisory Board recommendation
Altogether, the members of the Scientific Advisory Board expressed a recommendation in the form of a ranking and consensus reports detailed strengths and weaknesses for each of the topics. The reports also contain recommendations to improve the topic in case it is selected for the Call 2023. The ranking is reminded below and the consensus reports are in attachment below.

Voting of funding organisations
Considering the recommendation of the Scientific Advisory Board members, the funding organisations vote for two topics to be selected for the Call 2023 of CHIST-ERA. The two topics that receive most votes will be selected. Votes of CHIST-ERA IV Beneficiaries are counted. Votes of CHIST-ERA IV Associates are consultative.
