05/07/2023 Registration to Conference 2023 is open. You can register here

In preparation for the Call 2023 of CHIST-ERA, to be open in the fall of 2023, the research funding organisations of CHIST-ERA invite to the CHIST-ERA Conference 2023 interested scientists to participate in the definition of the two topics of the call:

  • Multidimensional Geographic Information Systems (MultiGIS)
  • Smart Contracts for Digital Transformation Ecosystems (SmartC)

Preliminary topic descriptions have been published here, together with the anticipated list of participating countries. The conference outcomes will be integrated into the topics description to form the scientific text of the call.

The conference is organised on September 13-14 2023, and will be fully online.

The conference programme features a combination of plenary and facilitated sessions, and high-level keynote talks by international renowned scientists to identify and formulate the most promising challenges for the call topics.

The conference participants are invited to contribute to the call definition via two channels:

  • Pre-conference survey on promising research directions for the call;
  • By joining facilitated break-out sessions during the conference.

This event represents a unique opportunity for the scientific community to directly participate in scoping the content of the calls topics and exchange their views on the future of the domains with their peers.

A specific information session on the rules of participation to CHIST-ERA call is proposed during the conference.

Many successful CHIST-ERA proposals have been initiated at a CHIST-ERA conference.

Important date
Registration deadline: September 6, 2023

The conference is organised online by UKRI, the British funding organisation of CHIST-ERA.
